Dentures

One of the most economical ways to replace missing teeth is with dentures.

Missing teeth are unsightly, they make you look older, chewing food properly becomes a chore and neighbouring teeth shift and rotate into gaps, create food traps and loss of jaw bone volume.

Replacing gaps artificially can potentially solve most if not all of these problems.

One of the most economical ways to replace missing teeth is with dentures.

What is a Denture?

A denture is a removable appliance that replaces missing teeth.

It is made of hard acrylic resin or a combination of hard acrylic and molded cobalt chromium.

Generally speaking there are 2 different types of dentures.

Partial dentures and full dentures.
  1. Partial dentures replace a number of missing teeth in your mouth

Full dentures replace all your teeth. In other words, they are used when you have no teeth left in your mouth. i.e. you are edentulous.

The procedure requires taking impressions so we can construct custom made dentures to suit your individual needs.

We usually require 4 visits that include a try-in preview so you can see your smile before it is custom finished.

We only use the very best materials. Our dental technicians are Australian, working in Australia under the strictest Australian standards.

At Genuine Smiles we are more than happy for you to come in so we can discuss your needs.
